Amanda has been a qualified complementary therapist since 2001 in Leeds and is the Director of Balance Natural Health Clinic in Leeds. She has studied first Shiatsu in 1999, Sports and Swedish Massage in 2003 and a BSc in Acupuncture from the renowned Northern College of Acupuncture in York in 2008.

Amanda has now retired from stand alone floor Shiatsu and massage, focusing on Acupuncture. However, wherever appropriate, she may use a combination of her trained modalities to treat musculoskeletal issues with Acupuncture and Massage. With more emotional or Psychological issues , she may use a combination of Acupuncture and Table Shiatsu. Any modality combination treatments will be discussed with you during your first session. She also offers Acupuncture for fertility support, pregnancy shiatsu in the third trimester and shiatsu workshops for birth and pain relief during labour for couples.

She enjoys snowboarding and being outdoors in the Yorkshire Dales.
